It's no, Samson aint bad. The honor system is a little more complicated than having simple rank boundries, and as far as I know, outside of blizzard no one knows exactly how it works.

Last week I got about 40k honor and *almost* got Rank 8 ('bout 1% from it.) Once I hit rank 10 (Lieutenant Commander) I will quit, though. I'm after those nice-looking shoulders.

And it's not about how well you play but about how much...

And Predion is better than I am I think, I think he'll reach rank 10 before me tongue.gif

[Edit]

Oh now I see Fizzlebits is pvp'ing too! Something with mages and pvp I guess.

For those of you that are wondering on how the honor system works:

Blizz takes the total honor of the week and calculates how big percentage of the total you got and compare it to what you got last week, and if you have more honor, you will go up in rank, and if you have less you go down.

Its that simple *grins*.

Well actually I think standings are used to determine your rank, and your honor determines your standing (in some complicated way.) So what rank you get depends on your allies in many ways (how much honor you get, how many people are above you etc.) and the amount of people per rank depends on server population I believe.
